Zauchensee Free Bus
During the ski season there is a free bus service that links Zauchensee to Altenmarkt, a distance of approximately 10km. This allows easy access for shopping, more restaurants and connected ski areas. The buses normally run from 8.30 in the morning through to 17.30 in the evening, however, the time table can vary during holiday periods. With a bus stop just a few minutes walk from the apartment, this is one easy method of getting to other ski areas, and makes the last leg home very easy. Click here for time table.

From Salzburg, Radstadt/Atenmarkt is an hour to an hour and a half by train. (It takes a few minutes longer to reach Altenmarkt village, since you'll need to change to a local or regional train in Bischofshofen).
